The anchorages on Skhinousa:
Nisis Agrilos is a small, rugged islet to the south of Skhinousa. It is a patchy islet that offers some respite from the northerlies but is rarely preferred by tourists. Anchoring is inconvenient as there are reefs and rocks everywhere.
Agrilos offers a great view of the south. It qualifies for a quick evening stop before returning to Naxos or Mirsini.
Mooring at Agrilos
Anchoring suggestion is not more than three meters but extra caution is recommended due to the rocky patch around the shore. It is best to keep an eye on the sun and the wind and plan your voyage accordingly. This is because the meltemi gusts can be sudden.
